How to curl chemically straightened hair? Q. I have chemically straightened my hair. But now its kinda growing out, so i have wavy hair at the roots while the rest is poker straight. I wish to add curls or waves to my hair sometimes, so i use a curling iron, but the curls don't last more than an hour.Can anybody tell me how can i have long lasting curls?? Q. I plan on getting my hair permanently straightened. At the place I'm going to, I have the choice of chemical or ionic straightening. Although I thought i might settle for chemical becuase it's cheaper, a friend of mine scared me telling me my hair will look fake, like a weave. Is chemical or ionic more healthier, and how long will the results last? Are there any bad things i should be warned about?
